Project Manager
Mid-level
Full-time
Remote
We're a remote-first team rebuilding banking for high-inflation and underserved markets. No politics, no pointless meetings, full ownership of your time. If that sounds like how you want to work, take a look at our open roles.
Who we are
About Lighthouse
Lighthouse is a USDC-based neobank for businesses and consumers in high-inflation and underserved markets. We let people hold dollars, spend anywhere Visa is accepted, and send money across borders without fees.
Our mission is to give businesses and individuals in high-inflation and underserved markets reliable access to dollars they can hold, spend, and move worldwide, through infrastructure that feels like a premium global bank.
We value clear communication, constant curiosity, and advancement based on respect and merit, not politics. As a remote-first company, everything is 100% remote. You'll have the freedom to schedule your own hours, with a high value placed on uninterrupted work time. We ruthlessly nix any meeting that can be resolved by a text message.
About the team
The Operations team manages our workforce to encourage teamwork, cooperation, and productivity. Their primary focus is fostering team unity and boosting day-to-day efficiency.
What you’ll do
We're looking for a Project Manager with a few all-important character traits:
Candor: You value honesty and problem-solving over the appearance of politeness. You're not afraid of confrontation but understand the value of each interaction. People respect you because you use candor as a tool to build them up, not a weapon to break them down.
Conscientiousness: You genuinely like other people. In particular, you understand that the people who work with you are more than disposable assets. You aspire to be an unblocker, working to help others succeed and trusting them to return the favor.
First-principles thinking: You're allergic to dogma, habitually question institutional knowledge, and never fall back on "common sense" to explain anything. You make your decisions based on credible evidence. You only start working on a project if you can explain why you're doing it.
Responsibilities
Understand the project goal and make sure each person’s work supports it
Set clear priorities for each person and keep the project plan current
Hold people accountable to their deliverables and to the roadmap
Spot risks, dependencies, and delays early, and raise them before they block the project
Unblock the team so everyone has what they need to complete their work
Make sure the project has access to the tools, systems, and outside help it needs
Share clear project updates through the company’s usual reporting process
Keep project documents accurate and up to date so everyone is working from the same information
Who you are
We need someone who can operate with autonomy and self-direction, manage stakeholder communications with high conscientiousness, and swiftly adapt to and thrive within our unique company culture and environment.
Minimum requirements
3 to 4 years of experience as an Operations Generalist, Operations Coordinator, or related positions
Experience with data analysis is a plus
